Chicago Area

Markham Yard: Illinois Central RR : Double Hump Yard

Gibson Yard (Hammond, IN): Conrail/Indiana Harbor Belt (New York Central/Illinois Central) : Double Hump Yard (disassembled sometime between 1980-1990)

Michigan

Flatrock Yard: Detroit, Toledo & Ironton/Grand Trunk Western/CN RR :

Hump built in 1966 and some what disassembled sometime in the 1990's, still used today to flat switch, the remote switches are not used today but still inplace.

New York

Bison Yard: Buffalo:E-L/N&W:

Originally built by a joint venture between the Erie Lackawanna and Nickel Plate (N&W) RR's. The LV and C&O also used it to increase competttion with the Penn Central.

Completely torn out with the formation of Conrail.

Dewitt yard: Syracuse:

Ohio

Marion: E-L (Erie RR):

Located on the E-L mainline from NY to Chicago, line was removed west of Marion with the formation of Conrail

Pennsylvania

Pittston Yard: Lehigh Valley RR.
